Consumer Guarantee

 

All purchases from this site are covered by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 which guarantees that any goods purchased for personal use may be returned, if they are considered faulty, for repair, replacement or refund of purchase price within a reasonable period of time as defined by Act.

 

Exchanges and Refunds


We hope you will be happy with your purchases from Makeup Me and want you to be 100% satisfied.

We will exchange or refund goods that are in a resalable condition;  i.e. unopened and unused, but sorry, we are not able to exchange or refund products which have been used unless they are faulty (see policy below).

If you would like to exchange your order please  call us on 0800 215 996 (within New Zealand) or email claire@makeup-me.com and tell us the nature of your return.  Return the products to us in their original packaging within 10 days.

 

We recommend that you return your package using signature required Courier Post. If you use general post your package will not be insured and Makeup Me cannot accept liability if it is damaged or goes missing.  

We will only refund postage costs where the return is a result of our error.  Returns will be processed within 14 days of receipt.

 

Damaged or defective merchandise and incorrect orders


If your purchase arrives damaged or defective, or if we have sent you the wrong product, please ring us on 0800 215 996 or email within 10 days of purchase. We will happily replace or exchange the items to the value of your order.

 

Call us on 0800 215 996 or email claire@makeup-me.com and tell us the nature of your return.  

We will arrange for a courier to collect the package at a convenient time  

Please do not post your return back to us using general post as you will not be insured for its loss if it is damaged or goes missing.

Makeup Me does not sell, rent, or disclose any information to third parties for their marketing purposes. The company may disclose personally identifiable information to service providers who manage aspects of our operations.

 
We respect our customers' privacy! This policy adheres to the requirements of the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993.  Any and all personally identifiable information collected will be kept strictly private and confidential.  Information collected will only be used to provide our customers with the products and services they request, as well as information about compatible or related products we offer.
